Animating Charts

Hi,
I have added a chart to my presentation and am trying to
apply custom animation to it, namely animating each bar
in the series of my bar chart. When I add the annimation
effect to the chart, click the dropdown arrow in the
taskpane for Effect Options, and then click the Chart
Animation Tab, the only option that shows is the "Group
Chart as One Object". How do I get it to let me to
animate the parts of the chart (namely the bars)
separately?

Hi Laurie,

There are some effects for which the bars cannot be animated separately.
However, please try another effect because several do allow animating the
bars separately.
