Animated Signature Help

Guest

Hi,

I have an animated signature that seems to work fine when opening the .htm
with explorer AND in the 'Create Signature' box (Tools > Options > Mail
Format > Signatures).

When however I set this animated signature and open a new e-mail, the
animated part of the signature disappears...

Someone else has tried the signature (also with Outlook 2003) and it worked
fine. Presumably a setting somewhere on my Outlook, but not sure what....
Have tried detect and repair and re-setting to original settings, but no joy
either. A security setting somewhere maybe?

Note that the animation doesn't work while composing (with Word as the
e-mail editor). It will when the message is received.

And it is a .gif file? Does the gif move when you send it to a webbased
account like Hotmail?

The signature is being saved as an .htm file. As mentioned, the animation
works when opening the file with Explorer and in the Create Signature section
of Outlook, but not in an actual e-mail...

I've sent the message to myself and it isn't animated upon receipt?
