Animated gifs download - pls help me

Evere time I intent make a download of a gif, jpg image - right click save as
- the picture only could be saved as a bmp image why? What is happening?

You need to clear out the temporary internet files (TIF). Open internet
exploerer | tools | internet options | Delete files. Put a check mark
in delete offline content and click ok. Also next to delete files click
on settings, and decrease the amount of disk space to use to about 50
mb. Click ok out of the dialog boxes.
