how do you insert moving animated clip art into Power
Point. Clip art that actually moves across the screen -
eg. bird flying not just wings flapping?
 
What version of Office do you have? If you have 2003 or later, insert the
graphic then go to Custom Animation. Select "ADD" and choose "Motion Paths".
You can then draw the path of your animation.

this sort of thing is normally done with "animated gifs".... for animated
gifs to work you need powerpoint 2000 or higher.

to get the bird to move in any other way except a line, then you need
powerpoint 2002/XP/2003
