@ and " are opposite way round

Trevor

When I type a upper case and the 2 above the gap between Q and W I get a @
whereas I should get a ".

To get a " I have to type the @ which is upper case on the ' key.

This is the same using a keyboard that does not have this problem on other
machines, i.e. it's a setting in the PC.

I have the Region and Language both set to English (England).

How can I get them to work correctly?

You need to change the Keyboard Layout setting to UK, yours now set to US
layout!.
On the Date,Time and , Language and Regional Options click Regional and
Language Options then click on Languages Tab, click on Details under the text
services and input languages.
There make sure the right Country select on the drop down list and the right
Keyboard for the UK is selected.
