analyzing your document

Word 2003 - When I open a document I get a message in the lower left
corner..."word is finishing analyzing your document". Please put some
information about this in the knowledge base. What is it analyzing? Why is
it analyzing? Why does it take so long to analyze? Just a little insight
would be helpful.

It would also be nice to be able to dis-able this 'feature' as it takes up to
5 min to open larger (1~2MB) word documents filled with Text
