An outlook font problem

After doing a vista sp2 update my outlook program has a font issue. When
typing an email it shows ariel 8 pt. font. But as the message is being typed
the size of the font looks to be 12 or 14 size and each letter looks very
dark (like being bold) even though bold is not indicated as selected. Then
when the message is sent people at the receiving end (yahoo and gmail) , they
are seeing the mesage in something like 4 pt. size(very tiny). If I go into
my sent folder, the typed message is very tiny too--not like how it looked
when being typed in a font bigger than I had selected. Any suggestions on
how to rectify this? Thanks.

Thanks--it was the zoom setting that was messing things up.

For whatever reason, it seems to be messing a lot of people up. I don't know
if its easy to enable using scroll wheels or something else that causes so
many users to get 'zoomed' .
