I use XP SP2 and IE 6 SP2 , I cannot get the windows to stay whatever size I
want them to - as in I want to open my first window in full screen but I want
the links to open in a new much smaller window - Please see the screenshots
below...
http://www.clipedesign.com/Preview.htm
The first image is how the windows open if I choose to open in a new window..
The second Image is how I WANT links to open - if I resize the main window
small it comes up like the first image - it won't remember the size - I have
tried closing the back window and all that stuff but it won't remember the
small size - I have reinstalled IE twice.
I would appreciate all your suggestions. I am so clueless and a newbie at
this.

Control Internet Explorer's Window Size...

Internet Explorer Calculates the Web Page Window Size Incorrectly..

See "In some cases the "Remember last window size" info becomes corrupted in
the Registry"

I've noticed this for a while. In the first IE windows unmaximize the window.
Then use your mouse to pull all sides of the window to full screen. Then you
can maximize and it should remember the setting.

Solution, search for "IE maximizer" small free program
that will allow you to control the maximization of
explorer windows only, not applications which windows
should be memorizing based on last known when opened
again.

Only when you close the window. I believe it remembers the size of the last
window that was closed. This can cause a problem when you close a small
popup window.

I think everyone missed what I was trying to accomplish here. Here they are:
1. The FIRST IE window to open in FULL SCREEN.
2. The SECOND IE window (or LINK window) to open in a much SMALLER SIZE.

What you all suggested is changing the size of ALL THE WINDOWS in FULL
SCREEN or whatever I want the windows set. I want to windows sizes: one for
the first Window and another for the links thereafter.

Any suggestions?

I don't think it's possible but I might be wrong.
