I've been given an AMD Barton and I dont know if it works...
First of all - how to check the processor without damaging my mainboard?
It wasnt burnt, all pins are good... is there other possibillity for
processor not to work?

What motherboard model do you want to put it in? Check the CPU support
list, and check the manual for jumper settings.
