Yeah, you must be excited, it's the first time I've ever seen somebody
get excited over a chipset rather than a processor. %^)

Hmm.. I wonder how much "AMD" actually got into this chipset other
than the name? My guess is that it's pretty safe to say "not much" as
the design much have been 99% complete by the time of AMD's buyout of
ATI. Still, they might have got in there for a bit of the testing and
driver writting, so hopefully the quality and reliability will be
good.

Oops, soemone forgot to change the name on this one!


Anyway, sounds like a decent enough chipset, and ATI's last AMD-based
chipsets have been reasonable enough. Hopefully it should provide
some good competition to nVidia's solutions for AMD chipsets.

I guess it sounds a little ridiculous, but as online broadcasting comes
more of reality AMD will be ahead of other processor manufactures in
helping to delivering IPTV. I think there is a lot that can be done
with development of ATI and AMD technologies. I might be alone in
this, but I think that is where things are headed.
