Need your help! Cannot decide which chip to upgrade to, pc is used mainly for surfing the net and playing battlefield 2,
Currently running a 3800+ with 2gb of ram on an nforce4 mobo, as this is the old 939skt I know my choices are limited, but finacial reasons rule out a complete overhaul,
I have read many a conflicting advice from various sorces
Which one the x2 with its dual core capability or the single core 4000+, ps both cost the same, well within £2
Thanks in advance

Go dual core, single core is so yesterday! :D

Seriously, the dual will last a little longer, what with newer games being optimized for duals. :thumb:

Try and get an X2 4400+ if you can. Its better than the 4200+, and there are still a few knocking about for a little £ more.

Was going to get one myself, but had neither the money nor the time, and now I can't be bothered.

I'll learn to read one day . They have a 939 4200 at £51.64 though don't know how cheap that is , don't look like its the low power version either .
