Always wants CD

OK this has happened to me on THREE Win2K servers (never got a good answer
when I queried about the first one). They are working fine as member
servers, all service packs up to date. Then I do dcpromo to create a DC.
There after upon every reboot I get a windows file protection error and the
system wants to copy files from the CD.
MS says to do the latest service packs, I have SP4 on all of them.
Can anyone point me in a direction?
Also how does Windows file protection wanting the oringinal CD affect the
service packs? (in the past we were always warned that if we used the CD the
SPs would have to be re-installed)

And more crap. OK so now I go to MS to check for updates and I keep getting
a warning that the package does NOT contain a signture from MS, signed by
"unknown". This is the same thing on all three machines I have done a
dcpromo on, what gives?
Does anyone have a clue for me?
