Alternative to Win Vista Virtual folders?

In Win Vista there will be a function, which can filter files through tags.
Its called virtual folders (see

Is there any freeware alternative known to this?

it's for mono, a .net implementation, it should be multiplatform

You may have to install gtk# along with beagle
(btw, never tried it... keep all that .net stuff out of my win! it's all on
linux... lol, weird, isn't it?)
