Noel,

Have you moved on to WinXP???

Your older systems will still run on IE6 only...
;-)

On IE7, waiting to see...

Cheers,

Zee

Noel,

A bit OT on this thread, but Longhorn, in your opinion (I haven't tested or
tried it at all), is it a step forward similar to XP against Win9x/ME?

Or not so much...?

I would appreciate your comment, honest!

Thanks,

Zee

Step forward. Perhaps Big step forward, but it's still beta.

Firefox is nice, but there are still too many websites that are not
100% compatible with it. Or don't work at all.

I've used Mozilla-based browsers like Firefox for years, and very rarely
encountered a site (other than a Microsoft site) that does not work well
with such browsers. I suspect that the biggest problems are with
intranets, and also with sites which have too little traffic to care
about the current percentage of people using such browsers.

As a safer, better and more customizable web browser use Mozzila Firefox.

Get it FREE at www.getfirefox.com - I swear you won't go back!

Actually, I don't like FireFox - I prefer Maxthon (browser based
on IE 6) or Opera (it depends on the site I visit)

BTW, skin "bright" is great for Opera:

Finally, contrary to my expectations, latest Netscape 8.02 is not
bad at all - interesting GUI and support for both IE and Gecko
engine without restarting browser:
