Alt-Tab in Word

Alt-Tab doesn't work in my current version of Word (XP) and I have to use
CTRL-F6 to change from one document to another. How can this be fixed? (It
used to work on all my previous versions and still works on my computer at
work.)
 
Go to Tools > Options and check "Windows in Task Bar". This changes
Word's behavior from having all documents within one window, to having
each document in a separate window. Then Alt+Tab will switch among all
open windows, including the separate Word ones.
