ALT and CNTRL Keys non-functioning

My alt and cntrl keys stopped working for some reason.
They work in key combinations or independently. Could i
have disabled them somehow, faulty keyboard? Any
suggestions? Help...

Hi,

What are u trying to achieve with this keys. Enable the onscreen keyboard
from the
accessibility menu in the start menu. Press the control and alt key and if u
dont get any visible indicator on the onscreen keyboard then u have a faulty
keyboard.
