Since I've figured out so far, that I will need to reinstall my explorer....
how do I go about with that? I do not want to uninstall and then find out
that I cannot easily reinstall it.
I tried the whole "registry keys" way and it confused me, I'm not sure what
to do.

Please see the article that you referenced, *all* the info is there.
And what do you mean by "I'm still using the Internet"? You don't need
a working web browser to "use" the 'net.

Why not describe the problem, and see if there's a known solution? Try and let
us help you, if you find a single Microsoft article to be less than satisfying.
