Hi! I've used Office 97 PRO on a WIN 98 PC for a few years. I then
updated to WIN XP H.E., via my new Dell.

All modules of Office 97 PRO run well except OUTLOOK. I receive an
error message, apologizing and asking if I wish to SEND the error
data to Microsoft. If I give anyone here a list of the zillion numbers
and letters listed, would that help anyone solve the problem?

NOTE: Before loading Office 97 PRO, I set MSCONFIG to run without ANY
startup programs. Also, I have 512MB ram, and tons of space left on
the hard drive. But only (1) partition, (C) on my 40G HDD.

Strange that Outlook is the ONE program that I most enjoy using and
use more than any of the others.

As always, thanks for all the great help!

I am running Outlook XP (2002) and it has a detect and
repair function on the HELP menu, I think you may have this
on Outlook 97, it's worth a try.

Hi Mike,

The error information that goes to Microsoft is for them to know which
errors are occurring most frequently and the circumstances when they occur.
That way they can prioritize bug fixes.
