Alphabetizing IE favorites

Could someone direct me on how to do this? I went into the profile and
located the favorites and alphabetized them there but it doesn't translate
to the IE browser window.

Click on Favorites while in IE and then right click anywhere in the
favorites list, choose "sort by name".

Well then you have me stumped. When I right click on any entry in my
favorites menu, "sort by name" is right near the bottom, just above
"properties" just like it is if you do the same in the Program menu.

Try opening IE, click on Favourites, and then right click any of your
favourites and "Sort by name" should be near the bottom of the list.

It doesn't give me a "sort by name" option in the Favorites listing. That
Use the dropdown list, not the side panel. (Access via Alt-A.)
