Almost home....

I have solved many issues and learned a lot from Papajohn and this forum, and
now I am almost home with my project.

I have a 30 minute video that I made with WMM2. I want to burn a DVD of
this, and I have Pinnacle 8. I have learned and have used on other smaller
movies Canopus to convert the MM2 to AVI II to be used in Pinacle.

However, for some reason this file won't import once Canopus converts.

The WMM file is 6gb.

Is that an issue? Do I have to make it smaller, cut it up?

I see that Ulead has a converter also, will it work any differently?

I am so close, I can taste it....

more info: sorry when I read my post I realize I wasn't clear even to me...

Canopus won't complete the convert, I get an error message. (i've tried
multiple times)

since posting the original post, I found the Ulead I - II converter and
tried it. It completes the conversion, however around the 19 minute mark,
the audio goes to all static.

I'm gaining on it...

Some older software packages will not work with .AVI files bigger than 2GB --
Is your 6GB a .AVI or a .WMV file ?
