Another way is Start Menu > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
Right click the service you want to stop and choose Properties it will then
give details on what the service is and give the option to change its start
up type between Automatic, Manual or Disabled also you can stop the service
from here. Then press apply to make the changes.
