All Word documents opening with wrong application.

I recently installed a version of Photoshop Elements 4 (on a 30 day trial).

I have since discovered that when I double click on a Word document, it
opens Photoshop Elements 4, and as expected gives an error saying incorrect
format for the Word document.

How do I correct the scenario that Word documents are opened by the Word
application and not Photoshop Elements 4?

I am aware that I can right Click, select properties, then open with,
however I want a permanent fix that will allow to just click directly on the
document.

Any help offered is greatly appreciated.

I would uninstall it and get Picasa
or PhotoFiltre or Faststone Image Viewer
All free and no problems!

Hi,

Right click the file, choose "open with", then choose "select program".
Indicate MSWord or the preferred document editor and check the line to
"always use this application....". Then click ok.
