All users folder documents And settings

Did reinstall of XP pro lost icons , start menu items, and
all applications See all of them in all users folder but
how do I get them to work

Check the settings in the Registry at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
Shell Folders.
