"All Programs" Menu

How do I rearrange the files and folders under "All
Programs" in the Start menu? I would like to create new
folders to group like programs together, take some off
altogether, etc. I could do it in the old version of
Windows, but I'm stumped in XP.

Thanks,
Bart

You'll find them in two locations with Windows XP.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs and
C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Start Menu\Programs (substitute your
user name for "user name.")
When doing organizationalizing (a word? :) ) such as you wish to do I like
to have two explorer windows open side by side, one expanded to each
location. There you can create, drag & drop to your hearts content. At the
risk of stating the painfully obvious, All User short cuts will be available
to all users. Short cuts placed in individual user profiles will be
available only to that user.
