All links to Internet Explorer not working . . .

All links to IE 6 are not working ... from programs like Outlook Express,
Yahoo Messenger, help pages for Adobe apps, etc.

Any suggestions about how to correct this problem? My IE application came
with the computer when I purchased it. Also using XP.
