All folder of all the drives are READ ONLY

My Machine all the folder of all the drives are READ ONLY though i have
tried lot still i am not able to remove this read only property in any
of the folders in my system.
I am not able to modify anything in the files programitically through
ASP.NET

That's normal in XP. If you have any read-only files in a folder that you
need to change, just highlight all files and uncheck them in one hit in
Properties.
