I'm using Outlook 2003. Within "contacts" you can alfabetic organize all your
adresses and decide on how you would like to save it, beginning with the
first name or last name. So far, no problem at all, works fine.

But when you open your address book by e.g. making a new mail your contacts
are all alfabetic organised on first name. I can't find any selection to make
this list alfabetic organised on LAST name.

Dose anyone knwos a solution.

Thanks,

Hi Peter
I just asked the same question and got this answer.

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there
Your option is to sort By "File As..." not Last Name

Good luck
Harold.
