Alert on missing attachment

when will MS introduce an alert tool that alerts you when you want to send an
e-mail without attachment although you do mention that in the mail?

The alert tool should scan the bodytext on keywords like attach*, enclosed
or any other keyword you want to add and notifies you when you press send
that you haven't actually attached anything.

And how about when the word "attach" or "attached" or any other derivation
is used in the body of the email as a "proper" word?

A ridiculous proposition.

Gordon, as with any functionality you will always have the option to disable it like for example the spelling tool. I don't use that one but know that others find it very usefull.

You obviously never forget to attach a file so just disable the option and
let me use the ridiculous functionality since I hardly ever use attach as a
"proper" word. Actually I can't recall any time where I used it in an other
meaning than referring to an attachment to the mail.

And about calling it a ridiculous proposition: every update of any MS
application is full of ridiculous changes in my point of view so another one
wouldn't hurt too much.

This has been done to death many times......

Do you want MS to think for you all the time?

LOL
the problem with MS is that they think too often for me by putting tabs,
caps etc where I don't need it but this one (very simple) thing that I would
really like them to think for me, they don't.
