Hi all

laptop?

Thanks
Andy

Assuming that you have your Windows Live Calendar configured in Outlook 2007
and Outlook running; yes.
For Outlook 2003 your Outlook Connector account must be set as the default.

Could you tell me if there is a windowsl ive calendar discussion group
then?

The Windows Live newsgroups are

microsoft.public.windows.live.callforfree.generaldiscussion
microsoft.public.windows.live.customdomains.techsupport.com
microsoft.public.windows.live.foldershare
microsoft.public.windows.live.helpcommunity_platform.feedback
microsoft.public.windows.live.liveid.general
microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop
microsoft.public.windows.live.messenger
microsoft.public.windows.live.onecare.antispyware
microsoft.public.windows.live.onecare.antivirus
microsoft.public.windows.live.onecare.backup
microsoft.public.windows.live.onecare.firewall
microsoft.public.windows.live.onecare.generaldiscussion
microsoft.public.windows.live.onecare.install
microsoft.public.windows.live.onecare.tuneup
microsoft.public.windows.live.onecare.update
microsoft.public.windows.live.photogallery
microsoft.public.windows.live.sync

Were I asking, I'd use .liveid.general

Thanks Roady

I am still using Outlook 2003 (looking to upgrade to 2007), and managed to
get my hotmail account in with connector.
So if I make my hotmail account the default what happens to the alarm sounds
in outlook 2003?

Thanks
Andy

Nothing, you need to make the delivery store of the Outlook Connector
account the default. This isn't the same as making the account itself the
default sending account and don't need to be the same either.

Once it is the default delivery store, then you'll hear the configured
reminder sound when one is due ;-)

Many thanks again Roady for all your info

Andy
