I just added AGP video card that has both DVI and VGI connection. When my computer goes to standby I keep getting this “no video” message on the black screen. Before I added this card. It stays black without this “no video” message. I would like to go back to that stage (just the black screen). It has not done any harm to my computer, but it is annoying.

I have only DVI cable hook up to my monitor. Do I need to hook up VGI cable too? Let me know if I need to do something different to make that message disappear.

Thanks

I don't think you're going to have any luck here as it's your monitor that's displaying the message.

It may be worth checking any software that came with the monitor to see if you can disable the message but I think it unlikely.
