AGP texture acceleration: Not available

I am only noticing this now after 3 months of having the card. But
when i run DxDiag my AGP texture acceleration is not available and
its greyed out. I have tried everything i know of to fix this. I have
formatted and reinstalled the whole sytem. I have made sure my mobo
drivers were up to day. All my Vid card drivers are a up to date as
of today. All my bios options appear to be set correctly [ Aperature
size: 128, Voltage: 1.5, AGP 8x: enabled] Fast write is usually
disabled but i have also tried it with it enabled. I have tried Using
just the basic drivers with none of the catalyst features like
SmartGart or the VPU recovery system (also with smartgart i have
tried to turn it on with that but after the restart it is just set to
Off again]. I have run out of ideas as to what is wrong. Any help
would be appreciated.

System:
512mb DDR ram (pc2100 dual channel)
AMD athlon XP 2400+ (2ghz)
Asus A7N8X (currently with C18B1007.BIN on)
Radeon 9800 Pro (128mb) (version: 6.14.0010.6476 (english)

Thank you in advance for the help. Its greatly appreciated. Also I
don't know if i gave enough info and i will post more if needed.

What O/S are you using? Go back to the nvidia install, and make
sure{re-install} the gart driver. Then install the ati video driver.
