after installing sp2..computer would not even boot up.
Went into safe mode still couldn't get it going. Have to
reinstall (layover) windows. Now it finally boots up,
but have errors occuring left and right.
The procedure entry pointGETIUMS could not be located
in the dynamics library MSDART.DLL
2..Specific Module could not be found Windows\bxxxs5.dll
3..Springfld_Adv_Daemon: WksCal.exe entry point not
found.
4..If I run McAfee shield..it tells me that I do not have
enough resources??? and to close some applications and
restart....
To top it all off the system boots up slower than ever
and also shuts down really slow.
I really understood win98...XP is nice but I do not
know much about it. Please give me some idea what I need
to do here.......PLEASE and a THANKS

It sounds like you had a very sloppy windows installation before SP2, and/or
lots of viruses and spyware on your system.

If I was getting all of the problems you listed, I would start with a clean
WinXP install and then apply SP2 before re-installing any of your software
applications. (Of course, backup all your data files first.)
