I have a friends IBM ThinkPad. He did the lastest windows
update when he was prompted and when he rebooted, it never
came up again. It does the start up to the point of the
line ticking across the bottom, never makes it to the
Windows 2000 splash screen even before it reboots itself.
It cycles forever until I turn it off. I tried the F8 and
it does the same thing no matter what option I pick...no
safe mode, nothing. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
