After upgrading to Xp printer & scanner don't work

I have been trying to fix them, but can't reinstall the printers software and
ai get an error msg, when trying to use the scanner. Printer is HP deskjet
952C and scanner is CanoScan FB 620P. Are they not compatible with Xp?

Check on each mftr.'s website for XP drivers and support information.
Are you sure you are installing them correctly? If they are usb
peripherals, the usual way is to install the software before connecting
the device.

Try going to the websites for both Canon & HP.

I've just bought a new machine after only 2 years & my
printer was Canon 4400 series, BUT it would NOT work with
XP so I had to buy a decent Lexmark. HOWEVER, if I'd gone
to the Canon site I MIGHT have been able to download an
XP Patch or Bridge Driver that permitted it's use, the
same goes for the website for HP too.
I'm NOT promising anything, but you might find yourself
