After updating to dwt templates, can fphover files be deleted?

There are quite a few fphover files that I assume were associated with hover
buttons which have been replaced with buttons in the Dynamic Web Templates.
Can these fphover buttons be deleted with no consequences?
 
If you are referring to .class files, then yes - delete them unless
they are used elsewhere.
There should only be 2 .class files associated with hover buttons in
any web, subwebs will have their own pair as well.
