After SP2 CD drive will play but not burn files to CD

XP Professional, Cd writer, TEAC CD-W512EB, Will not burn files to disk
since SP2 was installed.
Reads OK

What's up??

I saw the message about the DLA software fix(?) But I should not have to buy
software to fix the software FIX (SP2)

any help appreciated

Right click the drive..properties..recording tab and make sure Enable CD
recoring on this drive is checked.
