after restoring computer....

how can i reinstall a program after i've restored my computer to a earlier
time and not have it affect my prior downloads in that program???? please
help me

Move the downloads to another drive or copy them to CD/DVD before installing
the software.

Not exactly sure what you are asking, so I am guessing
you want to reinstall a program but not have it
delete/overwrite stuff you have already downloaded. In
that case you could copy the folder(s) with downloaded
info to another location on your PC, do the re-install,
and if the reinstall deletes those files, copy them back.

If you are talking about updates, I am sorry, you have to install it
again if they disappear.
