To reset security settings do the following:
1) open command prompt
2) type "secedit /configure /cfg %windir%\security\templates\securews.inf
/db
securews.sdb" (without qoutes)
3) check permissions on "My Documents"
or
right click on "My Documents" select properties then choose the security
tab and see if you can give yourself full control or go into advanced
options and take ownership of the folder.
All security templates can be found in the following directory
c:\WINNT\security\templates\
and more information can be found on the templates at
www.support.microsoft.com the template in this scenario is the secure work
station template.
