After reading email - move to a specific folder

I do not see the ability to create a rule based on an email marked as read,
from a specific person, to have it filed to a specific folder.

The easier way, if you are using 2007, is to move the message UNREAD to the
folder, then use the Unread Message Search Folder (default) in the Favorites
pane.....

Rules are automatically exercised when a mail is received. Not later
based on some random event that may or may not occur.
