After Installing New Monitor Sound Stoppped Working

I recently bought a new LCD Monitor and then I noticed my sound wouldn't work after I installed it.

I already updated my drivers for the AC'97 audio device but still no sound.

Any sort of help would be much appreciated.

Any sort of help would be much appreciated.

Were your speakers through the old monitor? Do you have external
speakers and are they connected correctly? The new monitor may have
speakers which you would like to use but you will need to connect the
speaker cable from the monitor to the computer.
