Afreey's DVD don't work

I have DVD-Rom from Affreys. DVD can read all types of disks, but not dvd
When i install drivers computer wrote me that he cant find DVD on IDE channel, i don't know what is it..
Can anybody help me to solve this little problem
I have send mail to Afreey's, but they didn't answered...

Do you have DVD software installed.. WinDVD or PowerDVD for instance?
