Aero and Qttask

I have at last got Aero to run on my PC by stopping a program called
qttask.exe from running at startup. Qttask is made by Apple. What puzzles
me is where it came from.

It's a normal addition when installing QuickTime or iTunes, which installs
QuickTime. A notorious Startup that almost always should be disabled.

Do you literally remove the file qttask.exe?
I've seen this file re-enable itself over and over in XP msconfig. So is
deleting or renaming the file the best way to avoid having it run?

Use msconfig.exe to disablefrom startup.

You may have to create an icon for msconfig.

(I don't know why they don't just include these things ander system tools.)
