Adware or Virus help Please

I have one computer n our corporate network that has an issue with adware or
something. Every 10-15 minutes it will start playing a commercial for
Entertainment Tonight. It plays the same thing everytime. There is nothing
in task manager that looks abnormal and windows defender, hijack this,
ad-aware, and spybot have not found anything. I have noticed that with the
computer idle all the processes are at 0%. When it starts playing the
explorer.exe percentage starts going up. Has anyone seen this before? I am
pulling my hair out here.

Someone playing a wee joke at your expense? It DOES happen, ye ken?
Sorry, I am not belittling your predicament but it HAS been known to
happen. Someone "planting" or "sending" you a little .wav file. As you
are on a network, ask around to see if anyone else has the same problem
before you go any further. Are you online (connected to the internet)
when this occurs? If so, dis-connect and see if it happens again. Clean
out all cookies, temporary internet files etc (c:\documents and
settings\<name>\local settings) and see if it goes away.
