I want to install AD , my users are 80% Win2k and XP 20% win98&95 I want to
know if it is a good idea or shuld I first upgrade all to same platform and
also moast of my servers are NT4.

The client PC will not make much difference to installing AD, but look
out for roaming profiles between XP and Win2k, can be a nightmare.

You shouldnt have to worry about the clients to much.
The win 95 may be a bear at first but once you get all
the bugs out you should be fine. Depending on how many
20% is it may work out to get everything moved up to at
least 2000 just for efficiency
