And I pointed out that your "then explain this" challenge was
illogical because it is not a 'contradiction' of Sid's point needing
an 'explanation'.

Since you're using a hack to defeat whatever locking mechanism
might be there your conclusion is illogical.

His reply to "won't work on anything else" was appropriate. You
might be trying too hard to make the issue black or white. Whether
it is locked or not wasn't the issue, whether it will work is the
issue Thomas Wendell raised and Al Smith appropriately replied to.
Whatever your logic would dictate is another matter.

Horse hockey. The precise statement was "I don't think Dell locks its OEM
version of Windows XP" and there's no way he can make that conclusion when
he's hacked activation on his 'example'.

issue Thomas Wendell raised and Al Smith appropriately replied to.

His illogical conclusion was the lock doesn't exist because his HACKED
version was working. That's not "appropriate" even without getting into the
potential illegalities of it.
Whatever your logic would dictate is another matter.

Logic is logic. Learn it, use it.

LOL. This is like revisiting grade school, the lower levels.

How about a 'yo mama' next, or something even more juvenile?
