Advanced options gone

When I click Advanced Option tab in Tools-Internet options window opens
blank-only Restore Defaults button shows. How can I fix this?

Thanks for the info Martin and Ramesh, but my problem is a bit different.
The ADVANCED tab is there but when I click on it the box where the options
should be listed is completely blank. I checked the colors so the problem is
not that foreground and background are the same. I also installed the
registry fix to permit reinstallation of IE6 but in the middle of the
install a message comes up about the software not passed logo testing and
will not be installed. Microsoft software downloaded from their site not
passing logo testing-strange indeed.
