Advanced button at Voice Capture Control disabled

I want to record voice, but the sound is very quiet.
I wanted to adjust the volume, but the advanced button at voice capture
control is disabled (grey) and not movable. Any Ideas how to change it?

Voice Capture/Preferred Device
This box lists the audio hardware available for voice capture on your
computer. The Volume button opens a dialog box in which you can configure the
volume of the preferred device. The Advanced button opens a dialog box in
which you can specify the hardware acceleration.

What program are you referring to?

It happens with every recording program, because it is the system volume
control.
The sound driver is Realtek and I already installed the newest version.
