Advanced Boot Options screen help

I am attempting full PC restore for Vista Ultimate

I am on the the Advanced Boot Options screen for Vista.

Safe Mode

The windows help instructions say:

On the Advanced Boot Options menu, use the arrow keys to highlight Repair
your computer, and then press ENTER.

There is not an option that says 'Repair your computer'.

Any ideas on how I should proceed?

Thanks.

I am attempting the full restore from a backup on an external hard drive

I used F8 to get to this screen:

'Advanced Boot Options

Choose Advanced Options for: Microsoft Windows Vista

(use the arrow keys to highlight your choice.)

Safe Mode (highlighted)
Safe Mode with Networking
Safe Mode with Command Prompt

Enable Boot Logging
Enable low-resolution video (640x480)
Last Known Good Configuration (advanced)
Directory Services Restore Mode
Debugging Mode
Disable automatic restart on system failure
Disable Driver Signature Enforcement

Start Windows Normally'

Where to from here?

My apologies for lack of knowledge.

Well, you are doing it wrong, you need to use your Windows Vista DVD to
accomplish a Windows Vista Complete PC Restore, please view the link I
provided you.

Ah OK , thanks.

When you say 'and boot from it' in your instructions, how do I boot from the
DVD?

When your Computer is starting up, insert your Windows Vista installation
DVD, it should prompt you to boot from it by striking a key on your
keyboard. If that option is not available, you need to go into your BIOS and
set your boot options to boot from your Optical drive.

Great, it worked perfectly.

Thanks very much for your patient support.

I have completely restored the shadow image, what a time and stress saver.

The shadow image was from 4 Sep 07, I now need to restore the data and files
between then and 20 Nov 07 when the disaster occurred. Hopefully this will
go smoothly.

Thanks again.
