Adv Filter

Hi,

I have too much data and fieldnames for one sheet (300+ categories in all),
but I want to create filter options all the same. I have tried to filter in
sequence (filtering sheet 1 and then sheet 2), but dealing with nested filter
combinations of and/or is turning out to be complicated.

Is there a way that I can link the two sheets? Or can I create a database
array for Advanced Filter that spans ranges on more than one sheet?

Any ideas appreciated.

not really sure what you're trying to achive. Could you give an

E.g.

On sheet 1

ID1 ID2 ID3 Data1 Data2 Etc.
Heineken Beer Holland 50 100
Coors Beer US 23 78
Coke Soda US 45 32
Fanta Soda US 21 58

On sheet 2

ID1 ID2 ID3 Data350 Data351 Etc
Heineken Beer Holland 39 100
Coors Beer US 23 78
Coke Soda US 45 32
Fanta Soda US 21 58

Filter example:
- Filter for ID2 = beer And Data2 >57 And Data350 >27
- Filter for ID1 = Heineken Or ID2=Soda And ID1<38 Or ID351>75

(Note: Date fields are distinct and cannot be grouped/summarized in Pivot)
