adult links on IE toolbar

[concerned mom]

i noticed adult links starting to pop up about a month
ago, and there's even an adult links toolbar i can't seem
to get rid of. just when i think i've either gotten rid
of it all or at least hidden it, it pops up again. anyone
else experiencing this problem or have any words of
advice? can anyone tell me how these links got on here to
begin with?!?!?!

grab something to check for spyware...
if that doesn't do it you'll have to start picking thru the registry
especially
HKLM\software\microsoft\internet explorer\main
HKLM\software\microsoft\internet explorer\toolbar
HKCU\software\microsoft\internet explorer\main
HKCU\software\microsoft\internet explorer\toolbar
